Artwork by Trine Omø & Gammelby

Featuring the talent of Gaute Niemann on bas, Piet Breinholm Bendtsen on drums, Stine Sørensen on vocals, Torsten Larsen as multi-instrumentalist, Mikkel Ibsen on mandolin and lapsteel, Nils Grøndahl on violin, Tore Johansen on backing vocals, button-pushin’ and karma-spreadin’, and Trine Omø on vocals.

The basic tracks were cut over 2½ days during the first week of may ’05 at Bjældeklang, Århus, and the rest was done over the remainder of the summer of 2005, spending many late nights and early morns at our rehearsal space.

Trivia: The team estimated a grand total of 100 hours were spent on recording the song Honeytrap. That song alone filled 4 CDs to the brim and part of a DVD, when handing over approximately 100 tracks for mixing. So you better dig it.

1 The Beat Is Satan

Trivia: At the end of Get With The Program, the reason the “hihat” stops counting is that a roommate knocked on the door to complain about the drumming being too loud, so the drum-track had to be muted. And the version of The Beat Is Satan on this demo is pretty much what eventually would wound up on the debut record.
